this week, we launched at Boondoggle a website for Mewaf called Unchained Working. I was responsible for the Art Direction and Design - it was great fun!.

Yesterday, I was invited to a Microsoft dinner with Surya Vanka, Microsoft's Design and Usability Training Manager and -as i was told- the brilliant mind behind the Windows Vista designs. It was a pleasant evening, i met lots of nice Belgians such as Pietel, Kris, Caroline, but mainly we all hang on Surya's lips. Very interesting facts and views he shared with us about the importance of design (more influence on revenue than technology or advertising), the dilemma of designers (as they just can't sell themselves) and the link of colors and their names (the word itself actually just defines a color). Thanks Geert for inviting me and thx Surya for the pleasant evening!

just a week before, i bought - finally - a new spiegelreflex camera (Nikon D40x), what a difference in taking proper pictures again!
and while i was out of the office, my design baby BT2 went live.

the concrete countertop of our kitchen of respectively 600kg and 500kg is delivered and lifted on the kitchen with the help of 8 strong men.

it's been a while since the last update. We needed a break, but after 2 weeks of paradies-all-in we can smile again. In the meantime our patio went green and our wooden floor upstairs is finished.

we moved in biekorfstraat 59!there's still big chaos everywhere and dust all over the place, but i love it. living with a lot of boxes. our white kitchen and the first view in the morning when I open my eyes and look up.

Cablechaos belongs to the past. And our kitchen is nearly finished, too. And no, it won't stay lightblue. The gas heating made working so much more pleasant - why didn't we buy that before?!

we went to IKEA and bought our kitchen this weekend. the island is already on place!the living is our first official finished room of the house (floor is hidden under the tetra), thin walls upstairs for toilet and shower are finished. and - shocking but true - no changes on our fassade so far.
