Petra Sell. A german designer in Belgium.

In 1999 I took a sabbatical year from my studies in Communication Design and went to London looking for work experience opportunities.  I worked at agency.com and RedKiteNewMedia, a sister company of Saatchi&Saatchi, where I was given some great opportunities to learn about interactive design.

In 2000, I graduated as a Diplom Designer (FH) from the Fachhochschule Munich. This website began life as a showcase for my degree project 'zappness - an experience of perception'.

Shortly after, I moved to the Netherlands and worked for Strawberryfrog.  It was early days for Strawberryfrog and the company was breaking into the international advertising market using Guerilla Marketing Strategies.

Love took me back to London where I found work in a startup company called 'white channel', but unfortunately, the internet bubble burst spoiled my fun and I relocated to Belgium at the end of 2001. After a year as a designer for OskarD, a small design firm in Antwerp, I was offered a job at i-merge in Leuven in 2003. And I sticked there for quiet a while, working as Design Director at Boondoggle (name switch in 2007). In 2010, I took on a job at prophets as an Art Director.

I also like to do some freelance work for different clients such as private individuals, companies and advertising agencies from across Europe. This includes working in collaboration with viva architecture on intermedia projects such as DU·BI·ETY and several architectural competitions.
